Ah Evreth, greetings to my former master. I come to bring you news of your family.
First let me start with your son Talreth. Unfortunately he is dead. He died in the dragon’s graveyard. Not only did he die but he came back in unlife.
Second your daughter, Talreth and his companions found her turned to stone in a ruined elven village in the Stolen Lands. I was able to restore her to flesh but she had been turned mad. With the help of the high priest of Kyonin, her mental health somewhat restored. Soletha is now a shadow of her former self. She spends her days talking to Talreth and told her that when he died, he looked down (in spirit), to see his body rise up and attack his friends. He said he refused to be raised from the dead for fear that his body was no longer his to command.
Lastly your wife, she lives now in the Stolen Lands and she dreams about your safe return but fears that you will be lost to her as Talreth and Soletha are.
In all Evreth, you alone are responsible for family’s fate. Talreth died following Auronorex’s errand which was intended for you. Soletha suffered her fate while attempting to follow you in the Stolen Lands. And your wife, has waited and feared and waited some more. Fearing you dead, but not realizing it would have been kinder to wish you dead.
Oh and I almost forgot to mention, Father, I am now your son-in-law. Soletha and I were married.
Before you die, is there anything you would like me to tell your family for you?
This is my effort to buy some time while waiting for Beppo and Shin to join us. I’m sure either my monologue or Evreth’s response will be interrupted at some point….
