Bio:

Nicholas Woode was born in the village of Sarif a few miles from Restov. His father was Namdrin Quinn, a half-elf adventurer, performer, swordsman and thief. His mother, Tessa Kelrand, was a constable until she redeemed Namdrin of his thieving ways and went adventuring with him. They settled down when Nicholas was born, but when he was 12 years old they left for one last adventure. Tessa never returned from that adventure and Namdrin never spoke of what happened. Soon after, Namdrin abandoned Nicholas and disappeared.

Nicholas moved in with family friends, the Woodes. He dreamed of becoming a champion duelist in Restov, but that turned out to be more difficult to achieve than he expected. He did a bit of hunting, a bit of fighting, a bit of gambling, and a bit of running.

When a recruiter from Restov invited him to accept a charter from the Lord Mayor, Nicholas jumped at the chance for a life in the big city. But things turned out to be quite a bit different from what he expected.

Nicholas is Duke of Tuskany, with Faisal as his co-ruler. He is married to Tamara Esten.
